En esta unidad vuestro hijo/a tiene que conseguir los siguientes objetivos mínimos:conocer las principales partes integrantes de su barrio y la finalidad de cada una

• saber quiénes son las personas y las profesiones que suministran servicios al lugar.
• saber los nombres de estas profesiones dejando a un lado los estereotipos.
• identificar algunas funciones de profesiones conocidas y relacionarlas con el lugar de trabajo correspondiente.
• decir su dirección.
• nombrar elementos comunes en las calles de su barrio.
• comprender la importancia de seguir unas normas de seguridad básicas en la calle.

• Vocabulario

-    Lugares del barrio: school, library, baker’s, chemist’s, supermarket, post office, park, church, swimming pool, bank, house, flat.

-    Lugares y actividades: learn (at school), play (in the park), buy (food / medicine / bread) at the (supermarket), post (a letter at the post office), pray (in the church), save (money in the bank), read (in the library), swim (in the swimming pool)

-    Profesiones: teacher, cook, scientist, police officer, fire-fighter, postal worker, baker


-    Elementos de la calle: zebra crossing, street lamp, bin, phone box, traffic lights, post box

-    Colores: blue, green, yellow, orange, red, black, white

-    Seguridad vial: Stop!, Look!, Listen!, Think!
